The number of jobs in Armenia on May 2021 is 635,000, which is a record figure.
The chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) Edward Hovhannisyan announced about that at the June 24 sitting of the government.
The previous highest figure was registered in September 2020 - about 632,000 jobs.
"In May 2021 we have 15% more jobs than in May 2018, the salary fund has increased by 39% compared to the same period, and the salary of one person has increased by about 36,000 drams," Armenian Prime minister Nikol Pashinyan stated.
According to SRC Chairman Edward Hovhannisyan, the amount of income tax paid has also increased.
