Georgian designer Nino Zenaishvili has created printed and colorful masks which can be used multiple times and and it helps people to improve their mood a little bit in this very difficult and exhausting period.
According to Zenaishvili, face masks will become part of fashion industry, it is already considered as an accessory. "it is possible to look good in face masks," says Nino, " for me it was depressing to see people wear medical face masks in the streets, you go out all dressed up and are obliged to wear this horrible medical masks." even though, her idea to create elegant masks did come before the virus, pandemic made her more devoted to create masks in a way that would make people feel a bit better about situation. “I am glad that I have face mask that match my clothes,” says the designer.
Initially, when the idea was born, the virus had not been spread yet. The designer says that people always liked her printings and she was told that they would wear them in the clubs, she got interested in this suggestion and then corona outbreak happened. “But the moment i decided to creat face masks, was when i saw my friend wearing suit and this horrible mask, i was terrified, it was a peak for me,” Said Nino, she thought those mask mad already depressed environment mutch worse.
Printed face masks are not the only thing people finding helpful in times of turmoil. Virtual communication and remote work style have taken a big place in everyday life and people have to communicate with each other through the zoom.
