In January-June 2020, the foreign trade turnover of goods in Georgia counted 5 072.5 million USD. It is 16 percent less than the corresponding period of the previous year.
Exports amounted 1.5 million USD, which is 15% less in comparison with the same period of the last year. Imports amounted to 3.5 million USD, which is 16.5 percent less index compared to last year.
According to Geostat, the negative trade balance in January-June 2020 amounted to more than 2 million USD and accounted for 40.7 percent of foreign trade turnover.
