Joe Cocker dies at the age of 70

Singer Joe Cocker dies at the age of 70. His agent Barrie Marshall confirmed he had died of an undisclosed illness. 

Well known blues and rock singer, song-writer Joe Cocker had more than 40 years  of professional career. His best know songs were "You are so beautiful" and "Up where we belonged". Joe Cocker started his career in pubs and clubs of his hometown - Sheffield. 

Last year the famous singer started a concert tour in Europe and gave final concert in Hammersmith, London in June, 2013. 

Joe Cocker was born May 22, 1944. He became popular singer in 1960s. In 1983 he got Grammy Award for "Up where we belong" duet with Jeniffer Warnes
