Khadija Ismayilova is still in prison

Khadija Ismayilova, an investigative journalist from Azerbaijan is still in prison.

Khadija Ismayilova is a journalist, who revealed Ilham Aliyev's family business ties and was detained for two months inprisonment on 5th December. Ismayilova was arrested under charges of incitement to suicide of Tural Mustafayev. 


Armenia joins the Eurasian Economic Union

 With 103 for, 7 against and 1 abstained the parliament of Armenia voted for joining the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).

NATO Warns Georgia

If the leadership of NATO member countries will have a feeling that in Georgia there is evidence of political persecution of political opponents, it will not contribute to the process of tightening relations with the alliance, said NATO's Special Representative for the South Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai. He made this statement in Tbilisi on Thursday at a joint briefing with Georgian State Minister for European Integration Davit Bakradze. Appathurai said that this danger exsists and it should be avoided.
