Georgia is taking actions to avoid an increase in custom duties, said Georgian Vice-Premier, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Kvirikashvili in Yerevan on December 24.


“We are doing our best to adjust our association with the European Union with Armenia’s decision to accede to the Eurasian Union. Before we start negotiating a new customs treatment, we are trying to keep the same customs duties that have been in effect so far,” Kvirikashvili said.

The Vice-Premier added, that Armenia is important trade partner of Georgia and they will do everything to develop the relations with Armenia.
